Sunny February Weather

Hola, hoy voy a escribir en español porque a veces sólo quiero practicar mi español. Los días pasados hizo sol! Me gusta mucho el tiempo ahora. Ayer fui muy ocupada pero me divertí mucho. Tuve una clase de historia después de escuela, entonces cuidé un niño que vive cerca de mi. Hablé con unos amigos por teléfono toda la noche también. Hoy me divertí también, pero no tanto como ayer.

Today I felt like writing in Spanish, but here's a quick English summary of the day: this week has been really sunny and I've been loving the weather. Yesterday I had a really good day, and today was pretty nice too. 

Schoolwork

Today we dissected sheep eyes in my physiology class! It was really quite strange. Anyway, after school I went to the library with my friends again. Only a few pictures today since it wasn't that eventful.

Start of a Long Weekend

Here are just a few pictures from the past two days. Half my weekend is over already! It doesn't feel like a long weekend after all, even though it's twice the amount of time off as usual.

I've been enjoying my new shoes, although they aren't as sturdy as I was hoping they would be.

I got a haircut right after this, so the back doesn't look as awkwardly long now!

Hidden Thoughts

Valentine's Day is coming up, and although I have no significant other or Valentine, there have been things relating to the upcoming holiday all around me, such as the new Starbucks cups and my English teacher assigning us a love poem to write.

Philosophizing

No new exciting photos or anything interesting this week really, just a few quick thoughts! Recently I've been obsessing over House M.D. more than usual, so I've been watching the whole series over again from Season 1. It make me obsessive because he's a puzzle solver just like me. Secondly, I've been feeling all analytical lately, hence why I've been watching House, and I've also been journaling a lot and writing some poetry.

Tea, Sewing and Friends

Yesterday was a very nice day. When I got up I had a lovely breakfast, made a pair of shorts which turned out wonderful, watched an episode of Downton Abbey, and spent the whole evening with friends for a birthday party. I didn't take any pictures of the evening, but here are some from the part of the day I spent at home. And here are the shorts I made! What do you think? :)

This is what I ended up wearing to my friend's birthday party. I really like how the shorts go with black tights.

Cats and Books

 Today I've been feeling preppy and absorbed in studies, hence my outfit today. After school I wanted a picture of my outfit, but by the time I'm home the lighting around my house is usually pretty unflattering. Then I saw my cat sitting proudly in this room and got inspired, and he decided to include himself in my photoshoot which I thought turned out pretty cute. I especially love this first picture of him in the background.

Lately I've been reading The Legends of King Arthur. The book here is called The Once and Future King (also about King Arthur) which I read several years ago. I decided to read another version of the legend, however the one I've been reading is focused almost completely on battles so I'm not sure if I'll finish it. The version I read before is more storybook-like, so maybe I'll reread it instead sometime.
